I received a free meal kit from Dinnerly to help facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
If you haven’t jumped on the meal kit wagon you need to now! I’ve tried a couple of different meal kits but after trying Dinnerly, I enjoyed them even more. I kept seeing meal kits on social media especially, Facebook and Instagram daily. From vegan to keto to just family based.
Last Summer my husband and I tried our first meal kits. I did like the fact it offered the best portions and fresh ingredients but felt it was too expensive so after a couple of weeks we had to stop. Recently I decided to get my meal planning in full force but not have to sacrifice what we like to eat.
We tried Dinnerly and this is what happened
I kept seeing ads from Dinnerly. That and I kept seeing how affordable Dinnerly was! One thing that intrigued me was their pricing per serving. Literally, $4.99 per serving and you are able to skip weeks. You spend more than that when eating at your local pizza place. You get the best of both worlds when it comes to this. You literally feel like you are getting a restaurant based quality dish at just $4.99. This is one of the best budget-friendly options I have tried. Plus now they have 3, 4 and even five dinner options per week.
What is a meal kit?
A meal kit is a subscription-based food service. They provide everything from the ingredients to the portions. One thing I love about this type of service; you can choose from two people to family-based plans and get to choose your meals instead of having them choose them for you. You also receive the recipe cards which can be used in the future for your use and get to pick the day of the week to receive your box.
If you are super busy this is definitely a great option. Those Millennials lol! I love how family-based Dinnerly is. They also love to cater to the environment where they send you digital cards instead of the paper ones like other kits send out. Plus I never keep track of paper items so this option is great for me to always look back on.
For my first kit with Dinnerly, I chose Creamy Pesto Turkey Meatballs, Spiced Crispy Pork Gyro , and Pepper Crusted Pork Tenderloin. They send out fresh produce and ingredients so you know you are preparing a delicious and healthy meal.
When I made the pork tenderloin everyone couldn’t wait. They said it smelled so great and was so easy to make. I felt like a real chef. They even tend to picky eaters. A ate his whole meal. We told him the pasta was dinosaur pasta since it was partly green and he ate his whole meal. Even the turkey meatballs.
I loved my experience with Dinnerly. It was easy and hassle-free. Especially on those busy nights. After 3pm my day is completely non-stop until dinnertime. So sometimes, I don’t have 1+ hours to cook. Each of these recipes took under 40 minutes to prepare and make.

This is good to know. I tried another Dinner Service, but did not feel the produce was quality or fresh. Glad to hear if your experience, I will have to give them a try.

For those who don’t have the time to shop or don’t really like cooking I guess this would be a alternative to use. Have to check the prices
