A film based on the true story in 2010. The search of Shannan Gilbert and the hunt for the Long Island Serial Killer. It’s definitely a mystery go to and how one mother kept to her word and fought to find her daughter.
The Haunting Of Hill House (2018)
You have to watch this series a couple of times. Every time I would rewatch I would find more things. Based on the book by Shirley Jackson. There are many scenes that come together and deal with death, drug addiction and mental health.
A father removes his children in the middle of the night from their mansion and left their mother who happen to fall to her death. Throughout each episode you see how that one house depicted everything that went good and wrong in their lives. If you love a good psychological thriller then this is it.
Spencer Confidential (2020)
This film stars Mark Wahlberg as an ex cop looking to take down the very cops who put him in jail. With all the humor I’m sure we will laugh.
The Silence (2019)
This film stars the Chilling Tales Sabrina star Kiernan Shipka and Stanley Tucci. Similar to Bird Box. As a teen (Kiernan) lost her hearing and her family seeks refuge after the world is attacked from creatures who hunt their human prey by sound.
Dirty John (2018)
Based on a true events. Dr. John Meehan sweeps Debra Newell off her feet. Both her daughters couldn’t figure out what it was about him he didn’t want them knowing. Come to find out he is a conman who her daughters set out to find out who the real John Meehan was? As Debra gets drawn deeper into his lies, the psychological manipulation has consequences for the entire family.
The Stranger (2020)
Such an addicting show. A web of secrets sends family man Adam Price on a desperate quest to discover the truth about the people closest to him.
Black Mirror (2020)
If you loved the Twilight Zone this is the contemporary modern version of it. Every episode has a different set of stories so you will never get bored.
Seven Seconds (2018)
Love a good nail biter? When a black 15 year old cyclist gets run over in a hit and run by a police officer literally all breaks loose. From racial tension to finally finding out if his killer will be brought to justice or murdered?
A Fall From Grace (2020)
If you love Tyler Perry this is another one of his Netflix flicks. I’ve yet to see it but I love all his films. From Madea to everything in between.
Mind Hunter (2017)
Love a good thriller or FBI show but without the gore? This one goes into the mind of serial killers and criminal psychology. This show is based in the 1970’s. The two main characters are traveling around the country to interview and learn from some of the era’s most notorious criminals, such as Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, and Charles Manson.
Unbelievable (2019)
A traumatized women becomes the scape goat of an investigation into her own rape. Until two female detectives piece a serial rapist together. In the end she gets the justice she deserves.
Working Moms
Working Moms is a Canadian show that is the epitome of what mom life is about. No matter is you are a working mom or not. Mom friends, mom groups daily life and caring for those little human beings you birthed.
