It’s been a tradition to go to Topsfield Fair every year. Since my son was born we try to make it every year as a family. In some weird way it’s always rainy or gloomy out. Figure that! Since my son is now three years old he is more aware and wants to do more things. So, even though the weather was horrible, I have this uncontrollable upper respiratory infection I had to go. It’s all about the memories.
Topsfield Fair is a yearly fair and is located in Topsfield, Ma. You’ll find everything from vendors, to carnival rides, deep fried chocolate everything, candy/carmel apples and food that probably is a days worth of calories. The best part of the fair is the pumpkin contest. Farms from all over enter to see who will win the largest pumpkin. Of course we had to head over to the petting zoo.
We were able to get a Groupon which is no longer available. Revaluation price of a ticket is $15. Children 8 and under are free. With the Groupon you were able to get two tickets for only $22. By saving $8 and going before 5pm we were able to skip the extra $10 in parking.

gloriousmomblogIt was. We normally pay so much but we caught it on opening day. That and the Groupon helped so much. Plus it was a fun day.

Sorry to hear you were sick, but it looks like an awesome fair. Those pumpkins would definitely be the highlight for my kids!

That seems fun. It always is good to let the kids enjoy traditions. They remember those things and as they age, they understand (and get excited) when it’s time to go back.
