Tips for Staying Hydrated for new moms
This post is sponsored by Babbleboxx but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Officially nursing for six months is such an accomplishment in my book. When I decided while I was pregnant I would try for a second time I realized I had to make sure I implemented staying hydrated.
I tried to start during pregnancy, but when you’re a new mom things can get hectic no matter how many times. I’ve always had a hard time drinking water in general. The bland / no taste of water has always made me neglect my water consumption every day. Making sure you get enough fluids is crucial when you’re nursing or just a new mom in general. Enter Ultima Replenisher.
If you need the taste of flavor in your water you are in luck. Ultima Replenisher is an electrolyte hydration drink powder. It is a balanced electrolyte drink that provides highly effective hydration with six electrolytes. So you don’t get that junk; carbs, fake sugar, and calories. It’s only sweetened with organic Stevia leaf which makes me feel better about what I’m putting in my body. Whatever I’m putting in Micah is consuming and taking out essentially.
Tips for Staying Hydrated
In general, staying hydrated can be hard. Add in having a demanding schedule with a newborn or crew of little ones that depend on you, it can feel overwhelming.
Today, I’m reminding you all, the need to keep hydrated by using these tips. Nothing complicated either. You wouldn’t think it could be hard but for some of us it can be. We all know even if you’re a working mom, stay-at-home mom, homeschool mom, new mom, or just a mom it’s so dang hard at times.
Grab a new water bottle
It may seem psychological but if you have a new water bottle or one that you frequent odds are you will drink out of it.
Use Ultima Replenish in your water bottle
There are so many flavors. From blue raspberry, lemonade, raspberry, grape, orange, cherry pomegranate, pink lemonade, and watermelon. Ultima helps you rehydrate and replenish the electrolytes you lost from activity and sweat. Including a nursing session. Plus everyone in the family can experience them from kids to pregnant and nursing adults.
When you’re nursing
Drink before every each session if you can. Always drink after your session so you can replenish yourself. You’re depleting yourself of water so you need to replenish yourself.
Track your water intake
There are loads of apps, water bottles, labels and stickers, and more to track your water intake.
Make ice cubes or popsicles from hydration products like Ultima Replenish
During the Spring and Summer, it can get hot. Adding iced water to your water bottle or fancy cup and adding flavored ice cubes is a great way to increase your water intake. Even just sucking on popsicles made from hydration products can help you achieve your daily intake. Plus even eat a whole tray.
