It’s baby shower season. It makes my heart so full when I see couples and just moms have that special moment together. Having a little one can feel like such an amazing time in any parents life. No matter if it’s your first or third; it’s always a special time in your life. As well as your family’s life. A keepsake is a perfect item to keep through birth and throughout your child’s life.
When I was pregnant with A it was all about keeping him safe and not having another miscarriage (especially since he was our rainbow baby and conceived so quickly after our first miscarriage). I suffer from PCOS and miscarrying is common for some women. For me my doctor said since my condition is mild there is no need to worry. I definitely did the mom thing and worried my whole pregnancy.
We didn’t really get that special time until the end of the pregnancy. By that time you’re over tire and just want to give birth. There was no glow or beaming like many. Anxiety was always through the roof. Plus I had morning sickness constantly throughout the day. So my pregnancy literally felt like a drag.
My next pregnancy I hope to have that enjoyment. You see all these new products but really think do I really need that? There are a few items I believe you just need.
The Perfect Keepsake: My Baby’s Heartbeat Bear
One of the top items to have throughout your pregnancy and throughout your child’s life is My Baby’s Heartbeat Bear. It’s literally the perfect gift. For mama and babies. You’re able to record your baby’s heartbeat up to 20 seconds. Hearing that first heartbeat to the last is always heartwarming and you never want it to end.
It will even work throughout the years and all those battery changes it may incur. My Baby’s Heartbeat has their own app where you can download and upload your baby’s heartbeat. The best part is they come in the cutest types of stuffed animals. They even offer a great gender revealoption.
Having a product I can use throughout time is essential. I’m all for saving but also spending money on things that matter. Having those moments throughout as well as after pregnancy is necessary. Pregnancy is only there for a short time, so preserving as much time as I can is something I would always want to ensure.
