Summer is here and so isn’t shorts weather. The perfect mom uniform. Being a mom means embracing your style your ways now a days. Not like before where you had to have a frumpy laid back style.
Back in May I attended an event at Market Street at Lynnfield. You can see all about the event here.
One of the shops I visited was called Fat Face. They originated from the U.K. with only a few small shops in the USA. All the bloggers that got to visit during the event received two pieces of clothing complimentary. One of the items I’m wearing here.
Since it is a U.K. company it their sizes run based in the U.K. If you read my blogversary post. You can find read that here. I’ve decided to be more in front of the camera. Plus I love blogging. It’s let me be, help me bring in my own income and connect with others. I’ve also been losing weight. Which is probably why. I will still be bringing you regular content.
Since I was able to bring home a pair of shorts from Fat Face they fit super tight. Not realizing I purchased a size two sizes down than I already am I figured I would just either wear them when I eventually lost the weight or donate them. The good thing is I am losing the weight. I actually lost 20 pounds and went down 1 pant size in a couple months. This also meant these shorts actually fit.
For the the first day of Summer I had to wear them. Plus they matched so well with this top.

Those are cute shorts. I love navy blue shorts with the pockets. I also like those kind more than denim! Love the shirt, too!

I love the khaki shorts. That could be paired with a whole lot of different colored tops. They do look really soft and comfy. Perfect for the summer!
