It’s legit Winter here in Massachusetts. I am the ultimate homebody when it comes to the cold weather. I am always coming up with fancy ways to incorporate all things cozy during the cold weather season. That is why today I am sharing how to stay cozy this Winter with NFL Style. For me feeling cozy is important. As well as anyone that lives in the cold weather. At home family dates are always something we gravitate towards; this one is dedicated to the ultimate sports fan. They are a must in our house. We all know that this time of year we’re trying to save and stay in than go out. We have always had this mindset since A was younger. We try and aim for a date night and family date nights every other week.
Cozy Winter NFL Must Haves
Cozy outdoor gear
It can go from 15-65 degrees in one day. That’s why staying warm and cozy outdoors is so important. That is why every season we always stock up on THESE knit hats. Their fleece option inside is amazing. They even have the 1x option of removing it but honestly who would want to? These keep D’s head so super warm.
The perfect throw blanket
I’m in love with everything cozy as you can see. One thing I’m not plain about is a good throw blanket. Especially when everyone is downstairs. So it’s only fitting that THIS throw blanket is a must. Plus it keeps us super soft. I even work in it half the time.
Find games that will entertain everyone
When you have school aged kiddos being able to find activities they can entertain themselves with is important. You always need to get started with what will help in a themed date night. Since A is a huge factor and he’s in first grade I figured NFL-OPOLY Junior Game was a great way to get him involved during those off cold days. Math has been his strong suit lately so this is perfect. Plus I used to love Monopoly as a kid and this is just like it.
Stainless steel drinkware to keep your coffee hot and cold
As a mom having a cup in my hand is always key. Plus glass is a no go in our house. We all have stainless steel tumblers, cups, coffee mugs and everything in between. They keep your drink ice cold or stifling hot.
Fun ways to entertain even on off days
