Can you believe that Summer is just about over and school is started. Having a picky eater doesn’t get any easier. Am I right? You always want to find ways to get your little ones to get out the door but be focused for the day. A is in his second year of preschool so we have a handle on things.
With the school year starting everything gets super busy and we think we don’t have time for things. With picky eaters sometimes they may eat one meal but not the other. Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. Plus, my toddler loves it. He will literally eat his breakfast then eats half of mine.
One all time favorite is French toast sticks.
It’s also super easy for those little hands. Pepperidge Farm’s Swirl Oatmeal Maple & Brown Sugar bread comes to use so well. It has just enough sweetness and thick enough for French toast. The thickness is what helps. When you cut into the bread it still keeps in place.
Ingredients
- 2 or more slices of bread
- 1-2 eggs
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix milk, eggs and cinnamon together
- Cut bread into slices
- Dip bread into mixture
- Cook in frying pan or skillet for 2-3 minutes each side
- Add fruit and other additions to pair with it
- Add syrup if needed

You can pick up Pepperidge Farm Swirl Oatmeal Bread in both Apple Cinnamon and Maple & Brown Sugar in your bread aisle. Just like the old oatmeal faves. You can also get $1.00 off your purchase with Ibotta HERE. Make sure you save your receipt. It’s super easy.
