Simple gift for the ultimate foodie during the holiday season
The holiday season should be the time you get with your close loved ones. Instead, it’s the time of year everyone gets the most stressed. I’m one of them. That’s why I’ve always been a late shopper. This year I decided to change it around. I decided a more simple approach and give the gift of gift cards.
For someone who knows a few foodies this type of gift is prefect. They’re able to indulge at a place they enjoy frequenting for drinks or just try new dishes. Instead of you worrying if they love what I got for them I know I can be at ease and know they got just what they wanted.
Walmart is your one-stop shop for purchasing gift cards
It can be harder every year to find what you may think is the perfect gift. It’s gotten worse especially since being married. Since I have more to shop for. Mostly due to the fact that every year I am stumped on what to purchase. That’s why I love purchasing my holiday gift cards from Walmart. They have a display in the front of the store. In my local store, it is actually on a display right when you walk in. There’s a big variety of different options.
A more personal approach
It’s always been noted that gift cards can be impersonal. It’s actually the other way around. When you go to Walmart they have gift card options for anyone. From Domino’s® Pizza for the pizza lover all the way to Fandango for the ultimate movie buff. They even sell gift card boxes and gift card bags that can even put a more traditional approach to them.
This year my husband and I decided to gift my in-laws a surprise gift card selection. They love traveling and dining out. That’s why I decided to opt for the Darden Dinner Spinner and Hotels.com®.

I love gift cards and don’t think they are impersonal at all (I know some do). It’s my favorite gift to receive! I just used one yesterday, actually, and bought myself a purse that I never would have bought on my own.

I think gift cards make great gifts, especially for those that are hard to shop for. My family recently went to Olive Garden because my husband received a gift card. Yummy!

I think gift cards are great gifts because you know they will be used! It can still be personal buy purchasing a gift card that is right for each person or family!

I love these gift cards that give you CHOICES! They’re really more practical because hopefully you’ll always be nearby at least one of the restaurant options.

I LOVE how these cards have so many choices. It takes the pressure off of choosing the perfect place while still being somewhat creative!! Thanks for the reminder here!

Sometimes, I’d rather give a gift card than figuring out something specific to purchase (and not knowing if they’ll really like it). At least that way you’re sure that it’ll be used and the person recieving it will get to enjoy it how they want!
