THM has been officially rebranded. I initially transferred this blog to a self hosted blog July. I started Thrifty Haute Mom as JH + Lovelies. I first started on WordPress.com (free wordpress) website. I opted to purchase through Siteground. They were cheap only $3.95 monthly. *If your new to blogging. You normally pay for a full year upfront. All in all for me this was the best service.
Not knowing where this blog was going to take me when first starting out I didn’t know where I wanted this to go. All I knew was that I was a first time mommy and a fashion lover. I wanted to do something that mattered, something different and become my own brand.
When I was 18 I went to fashion school but never finished. Since then I have worked a variety of jobs but fashion/style was always my love, my passion. Fast forward, 8 years. I have a child of my own. I got married six months ago and have struggled financially since my son was born. One thing that hasn’t changed was my passion and love for my family. One day I was sitting here and thinking honestly what can I really talk to others about. That is when I decided to changed up this blog. My new blog name is Thrifty Haute Mom. I’m always on the hunt for a great deal. Not, just at thrift shops. I then thought I will make this work. Someday my blog will be my own business.
Secondly, I didn’t want to be just a fashion blog. Being able to talk about my ins and outs of motherhood and those in betweens is what I want to show others. Being a mom can definitely change your insights on how to spend your money. I wanted to combine both. Motherhood and fashion savvy buys. I hope you all like my rebrand and what THM has to offer.
