The end of the Summer of has come. I have have been dying for Fall to be here. Avery will be starting pre-k Sept 12th. It can’t come soon enough. Taking a trip up to Edaville (also known as Thomasland) was a must.
Edaville also known as Thomas Land is an Amusement Park based on the one and only Thomas the Tank. Growing up especially if you are a young boy then you know Thomas the Tank Engine is an inspiration. By visiting the park I will say we had a great experience. It suited my three year old very well. Watching his face light up when visiting the different rides and exhibits were the highlight of my day.
No long lines is what got me hooked. Having a toddler especially a hyperactive one, being in certain situations can be hard. You catch yourself thinking well we won’t even try go here or we can go there another time.
It’s nothing like Six Flags or the infamous Disney World/Land. Overcrowded and hard to navigate without the headache. Yes it was small but for a three year old this place was big enough. Parking was free and within walking distance. This was a huge help. Having a three year old not wanting to sit in a stroller walking is all they want to do. Be INDEPENDENT.
There are two parts of the park. Dinoland and Thomasland. I’m not sure if it’s the age but these last six months Avery has been obsessed with dinosaurs. Dinoland was the perfect place for him. It’s a small entrance/part of the park but for his age it was perfect.
Thomasland the main part of the park is what we moved onto next.
Your able to ride Thomas which goes around the whole park. I recommend doing this before going into Thomasland. The conductor gets to take a picture of you and even gets to punch your ticket. Upon arriving into Thomasland they have plenty of rides for the kiddos.
In the end we had a great day and time. I highly recommend this place if your in the Mass/NH area. Especially if you have kids under 10. It’s kid friendly which for my three year old is essential. Hope you enjoyed this read.
