Easy morning smoothies
This isn’t your occasional post but since were getting into the holidays THM had to talk a little about this. The holidays are taboo for gaining weight but we can try to stop it just by doing little things. Getting up with the kids on any day may be an early day. No matter if it’s the weekend or a weekday. Maybe your just an early riser like myself now. Since leaving my job a couple of weeks ago to blog full-time and spend more time with my family, a few things have come to light for me. Being healthy is one of them. No more eating breakfast or what you call brunch late. No more eating dinner at 9 or 10 pm. I would work 2-9pm so essentially it screwed up my whole schedule especially when it came to eating. What’s worse? If you read a few posts back about my struggle with PCOS, this was one of them. This may be one of the reasons weight loss has been difficult for me. Who really knows?
It’s now the end of the week and I’m finally getting into work mode and getting things done. This morning I decided to start a smoothie challenge. In the morning I normally not that hungry but needing the nutrients is needed. I found this super quick smoothie to start off with.
Easy Chiquita Banana Pineapple Smoothie
Ingredients:
1/2 Banana
1/3 Cup of milk (any kind you choose) I prefer almond milk.
3 oz. Chopped pineapple
Instructions:
Pour all ingredients into blender. (We use a nutri bullet extractor but you can use any kind you have). Blend until the smoothie thickens or your desire of how thick you want it.
Optional:
Add in extras like cappuccino powder, cocoa powder or cinnamon.
It came out super yummy.
