Last weekend we decided to head to Connecticut for a surprise dinosaur adventure for A.
The two-hour drive to Connecticut seemed so long but it was well worth it. If you remember last December I posted about the best place for dinosaur lovers. The Dinosaur Place at Nature’s Art Village was the best for both parents (Dino lovers) and children.
We decided to stay at the Fairfield Inn near Mohegan Sun in Uncansville because it was super affordable and only 20 minutes from the attraction.
It was beyond the cutest place we’ve been to yet. Last Summer we went to Tag Edaville and the Dinosaur expo here in Boston. Plus you get in your exercise in. They had over 1.5 miles of dinosaur trails which went uphill and downhill. If you’re a mama to be I would suggest to take mini breaks and water in case you need it. They have a huge playground,bouncy house, maze, splash pad and even an erupting volcano. We went on a perfect day. It was about 80 degrees and thankfully not raining but the sun was barely shining.
One thing we didn’t do was dress A with socks. With a couple of attractions you had to have socks so you can purchase T-Rex ones for $2 ones if not.
Since it’s the Summer we’re considered peak season so there is a price difference.

They have other add one which we didn’t opt for. He was quite content and spent most of the day looking at most of the dinosaurs anyways we barely had time for much anything else.

- The last theme park we went to had a splash pad. A hates flip flops so we just had him wear his water shoes.
We all had matching tees which you can get HERE. Everyone thought they were the cutest. I still am on the troll to find A one. I found these in the men section at Target. I would size up. I chose a Medium in case they shrink since Target tops normally shrinks.

I have the same awesome shirt! The kids are crazy about dinosaurs and although we live in Colorado, we sometimes visit family in NYC. It would be nice to take them to CT and just see this dinosaur park! SO COOL!

That’s so funny. My husband got a Jurassic Park t-shirt at Target earlier this year and he wears it all the time. He is very full grown, but he still loves dinosaur stuff like he was a kid. He even taught at the Natural History Museum for a couple of years. Needless to say, this looks like a great time for anyone who loves dinosaurs.
