Now that I’ve been a mom of two kids for the last 8 months. Thinking about how I wanted to better our lifestyle even more than having one child has been on my mind. Finding baby friendly clean products for the home that I could buy in-store was and is still important.
Anything that can disrupt a baby or me since I am still breastfeeding is a no-go. That makes you wonder about all these different products out on the market that maybe shouldn’t be.
I’ve been using the Think Dirty app and the EWG website to make the switch to using baby friendly clean products. The products I’ve been looking for is rating choosing are rated A or B.
Think Dirty App
The Think Dirty App works similar to the EWG website just in an app. Since we’re always on our phones this app is a godsend.
EWG Website
Their goal is to find products, research and make sure you know what you’re putting on and into your bodies.

Dapple Baby All Purpose Spray: It is rated A on EWG. Dapple Baby offers a variety of products. Last Summer they sent me a couple of their products which included the all purpose spray, breast pump cleaning wipes and baby dish soap. You can find it at Target but if you want a couple bottles at a good price Amazon has bundles at a good price. I also like using the purple Method All-Purpose Cleaner which also rates a 2.

9 Elements: is an eco-friendly brand that sells home products. Their commitment to using no more than 9 simple and effective ingredients lives on to deliver peace of mind and your most powerful clean yet. They sell home cleaning and laundry cleaning products. Their laundry detergent currently rates an A. You can find them at Target, Walmart and Amazon.

Mrs. Meyers: I’ve seen this brand time and time again. Plus you can get a lot of their products on Grove Collaborative. On the Think Dirty app most of their products are graded a 2 & 3 which are in the green. Certain products like their toilet bowl cleaner and/or certain fragrances.

Seventh generation: Most of their products rate A & B on the EWG website. There are some products that do rate D depending which is why this website is such a handy tool when choosing products for your family. Their Lemongrass Citrus Disinfecting Multi-Surface Cleaner does rate B on the website.

Babyganics All Purpose Surface Wipes: Wipes really come in handy when cleaning almost everything. Upon checking the ECW website these wipes did rate an A. Some of their products aren’t rated A or B so checking each of the rates of their products is something you should check prior to purchasing.
If you’re looking to start a more clean-living lifestyle after pregnancy, starting during pregnancy, or just want to start a more toxic-free lifestyle I’m totally here for it and will help you along the way. Signup for the email list and I’ll be sure to send out clean friendly products.
