February is here and I’m so excited. The year is in full force that is why I kickstart the year with new goals. When the New Year starts, many of us make all these plans for accomplishing our goals and then fall flat on our face. I like making simple lifestyle changes to help get me to my goals. Plus if I ever need to switch things up I can do it. That’s why today I decided to share 3 products I’m using to kick start 2019. Simple and easy. 3 products I’m using to kick start 2019
If you have been following me for a while you know I have been changing my lifestyle into more healthy living and more simplistic. Anything hard will just make you want to give up. That’s why starting with these three products have definitely helped me kick start my clean and healthy living journey.
Swapping to make better choices:
With myself living a healthy lifestyle is so important. After A was born I gained so much weight. A lot had to do with drinking my calories. Mainly because I enjoy things that were sweet. That is why I started to use Splenda Naturals. Since A started school this year my coffee game has been spot on. The only thing is I can’t drink it straight black so I love to sweeten it. When I found out about Splenda Naturals I was in heaven. One if the most important features is the no aftertaste. One thing I dislike about no sugar products. With Splenda Naturals I don’t have to worry about that. Plus it is 100% Natural, includes 100% natural Stevia, has zero calories and doesn’t include anything artificial. I must say, coffee never tasted so good.
Taking charge of my nutrition:
One thing I noticed is when I don’t keep up with my nutrition and protein intake, my healthy living and weight loss journey begin to suffer. That is why, when I discovered Optimum Nutrition at Walmart it was a game changer.
I can be picky about protein so when I started taking their Gold Standard Whey. It has 24g of protein and easy to mix. I love adding it to my morning smoothies. Plus it is only 120 calories, 1.5g Fat (or less), 2g Sugar (or less). Did I mention it comes in Vanilla Ice Cream! Their Amino Energy is a definite pick me up when the middle of the day comes. It’s an easy mi in powder you can just add to your water and viola. Plus each serving is only 5 calories with 0 grams of sugar. You can’t beat that. From the right amount of caffeine, I’m able to get in my evening yoga session. Then when I’m not in the mood for a shake their Protein Crisps are great. Each bar has 20g of protein. Which is amazing/ (Gold Standard Whey and Protein Crisp. Add image here with all three)
Enjoy life responsibly:
Somedays I just want to sit back and relax. Thinking about what I can do to enjoy myself when I am out at family functions or entertaining at my house is so easy now with Michelob ULTRA Pure Gold. It’s a light lager with a superior golden taste made with organic grains for a pure and refreshing taste and has only 2.5 carbs and 85 calories which is amazing.

What’s the net carb count on the protein products? I eat low-carb and can’t handle a lot of protein powders that have higher carb counts despite a low or zero-sugar count.

These all sound like nice ways to kick start the new year. I definitely want to focus on eating better. It’s always a bit of a work in progress.

It is great you are still enjoying your life, but made some nice swaps too! I like that a lot – and I need to check this protein out!

I need to get back to having more protein in the morning. I like to have a whey protein shake or something similar to get me on track for the day.
